June update

Hello, readers! Apologies for the radio silence of late, but I have some updates now to hopefully make up for that. It’s been a great first few months for Enduring Chaos so far and I’m looking forward to a busy summer getting out to more events to spread the word.

To that end, I have updated the upcoming events page with all the events (currently!) scheduled, and there are lots of them! I am going to conventions and festivals in Milton, Guelph, and Hamilton, Ontario, and crossing the border to return to Gen Con in Indianapolis this year. Check out the upcoming events page for information on all appearances I will be making.

Also, some new art has been added to the gallery, including a gorgeous portrait of Damian by Chris Babarik:

And a bit of a joke drawing of my own creation, featuring Damian with a wardrobe change:

Also, I am very excited to announce that the trailer will be going live within the next week! So stay tuned for that.

Finally, on the writing front, book 2 is progressing, and I am also pleased to report that there will be two all-new short stories from the world of Elderra appearing in the anthology Missing Pieces V, launching at Gen Con! Both stories feature a major character in Enduring Chaos, one of which is written by myself and the other by my collaborator J. R. Dwornik. These stories will be available exclusively in this anthology, so be sure to come to Gen Con to pick up your copy in August.

That’s it for now, but stay tuned, more updates are coming.

Enduring Chaos launch events

We are now officially less than a week away from the launch of Enduring Chaos! Plans are coming together for multiple launch events celebrating the release of this long-awaited book.

I will be at SFContario at the Ramada Plaza Hotel at 300 Jarvis St. in Toronto next weekend, November 29-December 1, where the official launch party for Enduring Chaos is taking place. Enduring Chaos will be available at the table for Brain Lag in the dealers room all weekend and I will also be sitting on panels on Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror on Saturday and Strength of Characters on Sunday.

The launch party for Enduring Chaos is taking place in the Courtyard room of the hotel Saturday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. This event is open to the public so please come out and help me celebrate the release of the first book in the Sisters of Chaos trilogy with games, prizes, and more fun. RSVP not required, but if you do so by comment here or on the Facebook event page, you can have your very own custom-made SFContario badge for the party!

For those in the Milton, Ontario area, there will be another launch event happening at Recycled Reading at 171 Main St. between James and Martin St. on Friday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. Come out to meet the author, get a signed copy, learn more about the book, and enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages! For more information, feel free to visit the Facebook event page.

Indiegogo campaign complete! The verdict…

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to our campaign to raise funds for production of a live action trailer for Enduring Chaos. I really appreciate everyone’s support and I am pleased to say that we made our goal! I’m really looking forward to seeing how this trailer comes out, and of course, I’m quite eager to share it with you when it’s ready.

As a reminder, I will be at the Pirate Festival in Milton, Ontario this weekend, Saturday through Monday. I’ll be giving readings on the stage each day of the festival from 2:30-3:00 p.m., and on Monday I will have a new advance reading from Enduring Chaos. In addition to that, I will have a special treat for attendees: a first look at the cover art for Enduring Chaos! This has not yet been shared anywhere else in the world, so please come out and take a look on Monday.

Next site update coming on Friday. See you then!

Update: Faneria

We are two weeks away from the Pirate Festival! I will be sharing a booth with two other talented authors all weekend and will be giving readings on the open stage from 2:30-3:00 each day of the festival, including a new advance reading from Enduring Chaos. Hope to see you there!

This week’s update is Faneria. This section gives information on more of the political history and current state of affairs in the kingdom where most of the trilogy takes place. Come back in two weeks for the next update!

And finally, we are ten days away from the deadline for our Indiegogo campaign. Please help us reach our goal and fund the production of a live action trailer for Enduring Chaos!

Welcome to Sisters of Chaos!

Welcome to the official website for Sisters of Chaos! Some sections are still being polished – as might be the overall design – but feel free to browse around and read up on this upcoming fantasy trilogy. This site is maintained by the author, so if you have any questions about the books or the world in general, feel free to leave a comment and ask!

First, thank you to everyone who came out to Faery Fest for the first readings from Enduring Chaos! My next appearance will be at The Pirate Festival in Milton, Ontario August 3-5. I will be with Brain Lag at the Local Authors booth and am planning to give 20-minute readings each day of the festival, so come on out for a much bigger taste of Enduring Chaos!

Also, please visit the Indiegogo campaign page to help us fund the production of a live action trailer for Enduring Chaos! We’re already over a third of the way to our goal with just over a month to go, but I still need your help. Visit the campaign page for more information and contribute today – advance reader copies are available for contributions over certain amounts!

Thanks for coming to check out Sisters of Chaos. The next few months are going to be very exciting around here as we gear up for our November launch!
